I have a Philips Nike PSA 128 Max and am trying to use it with my G3 Blue & White Mac computer. I am using Mac OS X 10.4.6. I have the CD that came with the psa player but get several errors with I try to install. I was able to install MusicMatch 3.0 but only when I agree to use Classic OS 9. I get an error when I try to install the drivers on the CD.
I went to the Philips Support website and downloaded the new drivers for the PSA 128 at http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpproduct_selector.pl?slg=ENG. I unstuffed the files and tried to install the 'Installer' but when I cleck on the ACT211 icon nothing happens.
When I plug the psa 128 into the USB port, I do see the wavey line on the screen on the PSA, but nothing pops up on the screen of my Mac computer. The Mac seems to not recognize the PSA.
Sorry to make this so long -- I've spent hours on this. Any help you can give would be much appreciated!
